Discover what Floridians already know Now that's a winning combination! While just a few years ago there were many choices when considering a casino cruise, today just one company sails the waters off Florida's coasts.
It's a sure bet that you'll have a great time when you set sail on your casino cruise from either Port Canaveral or Jacksonville.
The Port Canaveral casino cruise is the largest ship with four decks of gaming action, including over slot machines. Passengers can also play bingo, blackjack, craps, roulette, poker and more for a morning or evening of fun.
Sailing from Jacksonville's historic Mayport area, Victory's ship boasts three decks with over slot machines. Players can also try their hand at blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker.
Reviews of these cruises are mixed, but whether you win or lose, most agree that they had a great time. We found the biggest complaints seemed to be the smoking that is allowed on some decks and the food.
On the contrary, the best compliments came because of the food and staff friendliness and courteousness. Another common complaint was rough seas.
This usually depends on the weather and is beyond the cruise line's control. If you are prone to motion sickness, check weather reports in advance to make sure there will not be a chop on the water and take medication if necessary.
Dining is additional and the cost depends on the day of the week and time of day of the cruise. Purchase advance dining and save some money. There was one air conditioning unit that was not working so they waiver the "standard fees" for the trip.
There were some machines that required a hand pay for no apparent reason and there was only 1 person doing this job. Overall I would say that my friend and I had more fun just riding out and back and seeing the sites.

Sad to see them leave!! We use to go every week and met many of the same people. We had a great time. I loved to have the ship here in Jax.
But they have left. Date of experience: July Thank you for your review. The Victory II isn't sailing at all anymore. We hope you can visit us on the Victory I in Port Canaveral sometime.
Hamburg, New York 24 contributions 9 helpful votes. Not Impressed. Took the Victory Cruise out of Cape Canaveral many of times and each time enjoyed it immensely.
Happen to catch the one used out of Jacksonville and couldn't believe the difference. Much smaller, a lot less machines, a lot of dead space and not much for entertainment.
The section with the large stage for entertainment was left empty, chairs scattered here and there. Gambling tables not being used. Rather disappointing and bare.
Bathrooms old! Top deck shabby. Whole boat needs rehab and lots of it! Rugs dirty, dinning room needs help, lots of it!
Forget Jacksonville, stick with the Cape, you will be happy you did! Date of experience: January Jonnie W wrote a review Jan Maitland, Florida 99 contributions 21 helpful votes.
Fun New Years eve. We have been on the cape canaveral victory cruise ship and it is bigger with more slots and so much nicer. Had always wanted to do the Jacksonville cruise and glad we did but won't go back.
